At Comb and Confide, we believe clarity is a form of care. These policies apply to all services and purchases, ensuring a respectful, empowering experience for every client. 1. Booking & Deposits: A non‑refundable deposit may be required to reserve your appointment. This deposit secures your time and is applied to your final balance. 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling: We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may result in forfeited deposits or a rescheduling fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may incur a $20 fee. 3. Consultations: New clients must complete a consultation before booking a hair unit service. This ensures your care plan and unit are tailored to your needs and preferences. Service Boundaries: Haircuts are cosmetic services only and tailored to both natural hair and unit wearers. Services may be declined if scalp conditions or sensitivities pose a risk to client safety 4. Refunds & Adjustments: Due to the custom nature of our services and units, all sales are final. If adjustments are needed, we will work with you within 7 days of service to ensure comfort and satisfaction. 5. Payment Accountability: While storing a card on file is optional, all clients agree that deposits are non‑refundable and services rendered are final. Payment disputes filed after a completed service will be addressed with supporting documentation, including signed agreements and service records, to uphold the integrity of our policies. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms. 6. Care & Maintenance: Our blog offers guidance on proper maintenance to support longevity, comfort, and confidence with your unit. We are available to answer questions and provide support between sessions. 7. Consent & Confidentiality: All clients must review and sign our intake form. Your story and transformation are held in confidence and treated with respect. 8. Accessibility & Alternative Arrangements: At this time, our motor unit is not wheelchair accessible. However, we offer in‑home visits when available and permitted under legal guidelines, as well as virtual consultations to ensure every client can receive care in a way that is comfortable and accessible.
