It supports individuals experiencing homelessness, transitional circumstances, medical or trauma‑related challenges, sensory sensitivities, or emergencies coordinated through community groups.
Each service is provided in a calm, private setting with care that honors comfort, privacy, and personal boundaries.

Empathetic Hair Care Program

All services are offered through partnerships with shelters and community organizations. This program is not available for public booking.

Health & Safety Standards
To maintain a safe and sanitary environment, all health and safety screenings are completed by the partnering organization before appointments are scheduled. This includes clearance for lice, bedbugs, contagious scalp conditions, or any infestation requiring treatment. This process ensures a safe and respectful experience for all clients and protects the mobile environment. Service Boundaries
The Empathetic Hair Care Program maintains clear service boundaries to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive experience for every client. Services are provided only through partnering organizations, and appointments must be coordinated directly by those organizations. The program offers haircut services only. It does not include chemical treatments, color services, or any service outside the scope of basic hair care.
The professional stylist reserves the right to pause or discontinue a service if a situation becomes unsafe or misaligned with the environment the program is designed to maintain. This ensures the well‑being of all clients and protects the mobile setting.
Service Location
Services are provided through partnering organizations. As a mobile program, appointments may take place at the organization’s site or at a safe, public location when appropriate and approved in advance. All service locations must support a calm, private, and secure environment.
All location arrangements are coordinated through the partnering organization and confirmed through the owner.
Scheduling & Availability
The Empathetic Hair Care Program is offered on a limited, appointment‑based schedule. Services are provided in 2–3‑hour blocks, scheduled in advance with each partner organization.
Standard Availability I typically set aside time on Wednesdays, with the option to extend the session when needed.
Flexible Options If Wednesday does not work for your organization, another day may be arranged with advance notice.

Accessibility
The Empathetic Hair Care Program operates from a mobile salon with limited wheelchair accessibility. If an individual uses a wheelchair or has mobility needs, alternative arrangements may be explored, as long as it is safe for both the client and the stylist.
How Partnerships Work
Empathetic Hair Care operates through formal partnerships with shelters, transitional housing programs, and community organizations. All services are scheduled in advance and coordinated directly with staff to ensure safety, privacy, and readiness.
